Because Cancer Bites and We All Deserve to Livestrong

On May 20, 29-year-old tech geek guru Drew Olanoff was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. So what did he do? He did what any social media addict wanting to make a difference would do. He married his tech skills and desire to help others, and turned this enormous challenge into an online campaign to raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Thousands of people on Twitter and Facebook are supporting and donating to the cancer fighting initiative BlameDrewsCancer.com, and the movement is steadily gaining momentum. Everytime a Twitter user tweets any kind of comedic, strange, sorrowful, crazy, or run-of-the-mill occurrence using the hashtag #BlameDrewsCancer, the website collects that post and saves it for the world to see. The goal is to find corporate sponsors to match $1 for every unique BlameDrewsCancer participant. When Drew beats cancer all of the money will go to LIVESTRONG, which recently partnered with the BlameDrewsCancer movement.
